Mpact Recycling is a leading paper and plastics recycler in South Africa, with a rich history of over 50 years in the industry. As the largest recycler of recovered paper in the country, Mpact Recycling collects approximately 600 000 000 kgs (six hundred million kilograms)  of paper and plastic every year. Their extensive network includes more than 100 business partners and 40 independent dealers. Additionally, they operate 15 branches across the country, making it easy and convenient for individuals and businesses to participate in recycling efforts.

Mpact Recycling’s operations extend beyond paper, encompassing plastics, metal, glass, and e-waste recycling as well. Their commitment to innovation is evident in their recycling facilities, where materials are processed and transformed into new products that re-enter the market, thereby reducing the need for virgin resources and contributing to a more sustainable environment.

These recyclable materials are then used to manufacture new products, such as packaging materials, which are supplied to various industries around the world, including our clients.
